i cant get custom skins to show up in the custom list, where do i put the .vl2 files for skins? Currently i have them put in the \Tribes\Tribes2\GameData\base\textures\skins folder as suggested by a skins download site
I downloaded some skins from links on this site and well.. some of them work.. but the others they are zipped files and what not.. but i need .v12 .. so yea how can i fix that?
If the skins are zipped, and not in .vl2 format get a free version of Win zip, or Win rar, and right click the files that are zipped and if they are in the Base folder, then select extract here, if not the select extract files to, and put them in the Base folder. Also, you can right click the files and select open, to see if they will be in the .vl2 format, and if not then you need to extract them to the auto execute folder.

Just keep using the trial version, don't bother buying it.
