Some asshat is base raping with the green smoke bomb of doom. I really wish this weapon could be outlawed. It seems to be the weapon of choice for the "pros" that do nothing but shoot them into the green base.
Speaking of deploying inventories, why is it that it does not supply everything you want every time? What's the deal with those? It doesn't seem worth it except for some smaller basic weapons and repair tools.
Deployed inventories don't allow you to switch armors. Try going to one with a different armor selected - hit tab - and watch. Nothing happens.
Now try the same thing with a base inv or the MPB - you change to the selected armor.
So if you are in light and switching to heavy, no you won't get a turret barrel or a mortar or missile launcher. If you're heavy switching to light you won't be able to get cloak pack or laser rifle.

Well, that COULD be possible, if you spend the 5-10 minutes to drive the MPB out of bounds and far enough behind the enemy base so that the missile turret on top doesn't shoot their shrikes down.
Unfortunately, your team would not be very happy if you did that.
