hey peeps as a long time T1 player (10 years) Ive decided to try T2 out again since NeoBlade came to our forum http://forum.militaryintel6.com/index.php#2 and informed us that its trying to make a comeback. MI6 is a Renegades clan, with a fairly good reputation for clean play and being straight forward, honest players. We will do our best to get as many peeps here as possible, some of us are older dudes, without alot of playing time available due to jobs, and well life in general, but we all play frequently.

I wanted to know if there was a Renegades mod available, I like TAC, but havent played it in years, the Shifter (if like T1) weapons are just to ridiculous, and Ultra Ren is...well just as bad. (IMO)

    The ultra renegades is not official and not produced by RenWerX.

    ok thanx man, I was playing yesterday and didny see ant Ren servers, only Ultra Ren. But I did get to play some base and shifter. The graphics and gameplay are way sweet. Its nice to play without the hackers. trally thats whats getting me out of T1, I LOVE that game ,but its getting to be to much.

    There is talk of starting up another Renegades server, but I think there are already two in the list. They might only be on in the evenings.

    so how many hax are on this version like Happy Mod, and what not. Not that Im really that concerned it. I just wanna know for the sake of knowing.

    I was attempting to start one, but the problem is I can't get the weapon sets to load. I've heard complaint about Cat's server specs. I don't know what I can host here at home, but I would be willing to host a small one for practice. I just need help getting it setup and working, since I've ran into several problems.

    Renegades is pretty much my only reason for playing Tribes 2.

    Yeah, cats server is about 800mhz, which isn't good for a tribes2 server(mabye 1 but not 2)

    Benn playing Shifter for Tribes 2 for about 7 years now there are no hackers. There is one exception though. The engineer repair gun has 'hack mode' that allows you to hack enemy turrets and other equipment using your energy.

    They can either be destroyed or hacked back to be recovered.

    If you find yourself overwhelmed just throw up a jammer beacon and that will blind the hacked turret so you can deal with it.
