Won't let me use my alias?

For some reason, Tribes won't let me get into games as my alias--only my user name. This occurs even when I switch in the set up menu.

Help?

    Do the servers allow aliases? If the server won't allow it, you aren't getting in with a smurf.

    Aliases are allowed only on certain servers. The host gets to choose if you can use them or not.

    But I swear its 50/50 on Goon Haven! Sometimes it works, other times it does not..

    Aliases aren't allowed in Goon Haven anymore, although they used to be.
