50% of players on GH don't play the flag, and at least 20% probably don't know there even IS a flag. The gametype got popular because people like Dynamix and Necrobones thought they knew how to make maps for it. Eventually the real mappers stepped in, and that was that. And have you ever tried Siege with 60 people?…
-
I didn't know the login screen had anything to do with running a server. Anyway, have you read this thread?
-
I think that may be a dual-core issue. I would recommend trying the instructions in this thread. A lot of awful players migrated to GH. I've even seen MANUAL CONTROL OF MORTAR TURRETS.
-
excuse me, i played Tribes 2 Siege for years upon years. we threw down about 10x more mines than you could even fathom, and would sometimes run into the mine limit. i often switched into ammo pack for that very purpose. if we needed to mark them (we often did in pubs), it was ALWAYS done in green.
-
i would instantly kill any mine marked with a yellow beacon just for being marked with a yellow beacon
-
Thyth is pretty adamant on giving out the Tribes 2 installer only in its original format as it appeared on FilePlanet. You will not be distributing your own version of the installer through this site.
-
I've heard that deadstops on terrain happen far less frequently when dealing with terrain that isn't completely flat. The TWL map packs changed many of the original maps to make this happen. Fixing this on the terrain front is probably going to take making every single player download the TWL/TWL2 map packs... which is…

keen mentioned trying something like this and saying that it was basically a crapshoot

i only know one word of korean kekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekekeke

he'll ****ing do it man. he once shut down a project because there were no linux programmers around... and some asshole looked at him the wrong way

The point is that someone shouldn't be running a script to try and discourage mission voting considering the wealth of awful maps nobody wants to play on the only remaining active server. If you don't vote, your vote shouldn't be counted. It's that simple. Whether you use scripts to increase the visibility of votes is up…
-
i have not seen this image 50 times at this point it's more like 300
-
Plus, you could always write a script to make votes more noticeable. Something that alternates bottomprint and centerprint while playing the red_alert sound could do it.
-
if you can't be bothered to press a button after 20 seconds after you hear in a loud voice VOTE INITIATED and SEE A VOTING BAR and hear people spamming YES AND NO WITHOUT ANY OTHER POSSIBLE CONTEXT you shouldn't be allowed to play Tribes 2... and you definitely shouldn't be allowed to dilute the voting pool

HAY WHY CANT I SEE SERVERS
-
well, don't go rambo in arena i should mention that i was playing team hunters like half a week ago and the only real problem with it was everyone leaving/joining when it was a 3v3
-
No noob could EVER download a map pack. We should integrate them with the biggest voice pack ever or something,
-
The first one sounds like VIP. The second one sounds like... slightly more complex VIP?
-
it's because you suck at t2 actually you NEED an internet connection or the game crashes. no exceptions.
-
actually it was more of a joke it has a problem loading bigger files, truncating them for some god-awful reason i use notepad
-
oh my god a BMP someone should slap this guy through the internet
-
real men use tribespad realer men rewrite tribespad to work without support.vl2
-
Have you tried updating your drivers?
-
The torrent is already patched to 25034.
-
team gauntlet is one of the most obtuse pieces of gametype coding i've ever had the misfortune of reading and it doesn't work on classic i have no idea what that even has to do with the topic at hand but i felt like posting it anyway
-
no fucking way. ammo and conc already called that title, and in fact named himself for it
-
...modem? Really? Wow. Oh, Google tells me you meant a DSL modem. Don't scare me like that. Anyway, it could be one of a hundred things. Have you tried calling up your ISP? Google also informs me that the modem might have an overheating problem. See if it has vents on it, feel it up and see how hot it is, try putting it in…
-
perhaps YOU need someone to "dumb it down for you, ghetto style, as you're used to" also i have never noticed your tanking skills. in classic i do what any rational player would do when they see a tank - ignore it. perhaps i should do that to "the best tank driver" himself too
-
Google informs me that you need Administrator access in order to play Tribes 2. I think you might be able to do it on a limited account if you set up the game in the Compatibility menu to Run as Administrator.
