Can't create a New Account in Tribes2

Hello there.

For some reason I cannot create a new Tribes2/next account. When I try it simply says "Account server is OFFLINE or unavailable". There are no firewall issues that I am aware of. It has been like this for a while.

I was wondering if it was possible for anyone to make me an account..... Or two, and send me the account .store files

    Inability to connect to the auth server (when not actually offline) is almost always due to an HTTP checking system in anti-virus programs such as AVG and is fixable by disabling the option. Have you checked this FAQ entry?

    Yeah.

    I've even gone as far as uninstalling Avira. The problem persists. Is there a port I should open?

    Do you have Windows Firewall on? Add a program exception for Tribes2.exe
