People were doing this eight years ago, this is nothing new. The biggest use of the shrike used to be crashing it into the front door of the enemy base.

Help me out here with the difference between base and classic. Base is how the game came originally, correct? And classic was someones attempt to change it by making my shrike slower so I couldn't outrun missiles and putting a chaingun on the Wildcat. If that's what classic is, then I hate it.

I've noticed that my skill set has improved the last few days I've been playing. Maybe it was my over reliance on vehicles the first time around that made me weak in the aerial combat department. Although we really do need some 24\7 vehicle servers.

You might want to hold that thought until the full feature set of T-mail and chat is reenabled. It will make what you want substantially easier. Also, is this a sign that the community is picking back up when people start spamming JOIN MY CLAN?

It would be nice. And also I noticed that tonight two out of three of the top servers were locked with passwords. My only other alternative was the above mentioned goons or a 32 player server with 16 bots, no thanks.

I noticed this late in the game and after many unsuccesful bombing runs, but if the tailgunner on a bomber has the sensor jammer pack he can keep missiles from locking on to the thundersword.
