This game could have been really cool; if the guys making it had hunkered down and finished the game as promised. If any wants to play what could have been the big comeback for the starsiege & tribes franchise here it is. In its current state its years ahead of Legions. I believe it will still work online for multi player games, unless GG games removed the master server for it. This game can be modded, adding weapons, vehicles, mechs, and more if you like. A map editor and particle editor are included.

as one the guys making this games, i know for a fact that it wasn't that we couldn't be bothered to finish it! it was that we kept getting dicked about by vivendi, and various other ppl not keeping their promises...
The guy running the project decided enough was enough and called it all off! not a decision easily made! especially after we had all worked so hard on it for nearly 2 years!

You can still buy mechs and vehicles at a vehicle inventory station in game.
Just stand next to a vehicle inventory station, press the F key..
then press the C key as you stand next to a vehicle or mech..

If any one here can fix the ammo hud for SS2845, I would love it.

If we had a didicated server up.. The CTF game would be a lot of fun.
You can select 5 pre configered mechs, at an vehicle inventory station.
There are 2 types of air vehicle to use. 1 ground vehicle..
add jetpack, add skiing, add medium and heavy armors, add more weapons, make vehicles more diverse or add more etc. if anyone would want to do this then id definitely join up, i can model, animate and make maps...
ive taken a screen with aa and the rediculous hud hidden to see how the game looks and im quite suprised, it looks pretty, if only i didnt chose jpeg when taking the screen cause the compression makes it look shit http://i30.tinypic.com/24y4e13.jpg
are the original devs still around? do they work for gg these days?
