question about demo recordings

let's say i have a demo that is 25 minutes long and there is a 30 second part i want to make into it's own demo, is this possible? i have tried fraps but i wasnt unable to figure out how to resize it because im retarded

Use fraps to record the whole demo, then use something like Windows Movie Maker to cut it down to the 30 seconds you need.
