Ruby interpreter load failure ...

... under wine.

I installed the T2 from your download area and the patch.

After the initial occurance of the error I loaded windows ruby (under wine). Still fails.

Is the embedded ruby interpreter part of your distro? Has this been seen before?

I hate windows and am rapidly approaching the WDDD - Windows Drop Dead Day. Currently I am running opensuse 11.1 .

  • Sorry, I was running Tribes2.exe not SierraUp.exe. Now I am having a problem with changing the pixel size it appears.

    Is this ...

    wine SierraUp.exe

... something to be concerned about?

At the moment I am experiencing a black screen.

By the way, If the site monitors would like to move this thread to support - that would be great.

    P.S.
If I run ... wine ./Tribes2.exe -nologin ... the video doesnt redraw correctly - and smears/breaksup easily. (DX8 was installed).
  • If you look around, you'll find that Wine has its own problems with Tribes 2, and you're not the first to try to use Wine.
  • Thanks - I had seen that. The odd thing is at one point I was playing Tribes2 offline under wine. Now, I cant do that. Dont know why. Still looking. :)
