Why doesn't my demo playback work?

I've recently downloaded demos from TeamWarFare and other sites and about 4 seconds after they load the screen freezes (clock is still going but the players and such are like paused). All the demos I have seem to be working perfectly for everyone else but only a few demos work for me, others like I said freeze within the first few seconds or halfway through, and sometimes UE when I try to start them.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for it? Thanks

Patch that helps prevent demos from freezing or crashing during playback. Unzip and run the executable.

Hopefully, this is included in the next TN patch.

patch it yourself. takes 5 seconds. cant expect them to do EVERYTHING for us now, they already brought our sunshine back.

Chill. I patched it myself when this came up.

I think this is something they are considering, I'm just trying to encourage them to do it.
