An Introduction to Mapping...
I have been searching the web for what feels like forever but is really about 15 minutes looking for a good all-round mapping tutorial. I have learned many things myself, but there is a little voice inside of me saying im a noob when I go to bed every night. I want this voice to stop.
I really need to know:
How to set up Switches and Triggers and link them to forcefields,
and how to create forcefields with passability for only certain teams,
A list of do's and dont's to ensure that any map I make is serverside. (Different poeple are saying different things.)

Example:
Simgroup Objects
>Generator
>ForceField
Simgoup Sub-Objects switch inventory
if you want something like a capturable outpost you just place the flipflop and the teamonly FF into the team0 simgroup, for example.
for your serverside map you only need the .mis and a .spn which is for the spawnpoints, the terrain that your map uses is defined in the .mis so dont include a .ter.
i guess i could write a little guide but until now i didnt see any demand for it
That is a good tutorial, check it out.
