How do I use the TWL2 map pack from chaingunned.org?

    Put the VL2 file in the GameData/base folder of your Tribes 2 install directory.

    I put the map pack in the GameData/Base folder, but when I open Classic_Online,
    it doesn't let me use the TWL2 maps!

    Check to make sure your computer didn't change it from a .vl2 file to a .zip file, which Windows has a tendency to do when you download any VL2 file. If you can't see the file extensions, you can enable them by going to the menu bar while viewing a folder (press Alt first if you are on Vista or Win 7 and/or don't see a menu bar on top): Tools > Folder Options > View > uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file types" box. Apply/Ok. You can then change file extensions by renaming the file to another extension.

    It is not a .zip file.
    Btw, I'm using Windows XP. (Yes, I know it sucks) :P

    the unpacked (non-vl2) map folders go into the base folder, let them overwrite anything they need to or creat new folders
