Can't install the TribesNExt patch installer

I can't even get the installer to download.

After it downloads it will say "no path found" or something...or "you may not have permission". I've tried downloading it through IE, Chrome and Opera.

I used to play this game with TribesNext...I don't remember having any problems.

    Tried dling it to another directory, say like the folder t2 is in?

    Yeah, I tried.

    It keeps saying path or file or whatever is not valid or something and then saying I may not have permission.

    I dunno what to do....I really want to play T2 again.

    Yea. I didn't really post because he isn't being very explicit about what he's seeing which makes it extremely difficult to actually pinpoint what's going on.

    That's really odd, is it by any chance getting quarantined and/or deleted by Norton 360 for some reason? That's about the only reason I can think of for it to not exist in the downloads directory as specified by the error since I really kinda doubt it would be an actual permissions issue.

    Can you copy the downloaded file to a usb key and run it from there?
