For t1 and vista/7 you might try Tribes1.40, and yeah t1 is kinda slow lately, but in the afternoons there are usualy some activity in the community server. http://www.thelandofoz.net/downloads/TRIBES_Downloads/Tribes_1.40/Tribes1.40_GameDownloads/Tribes1.40.655.HQ.zip

In this case I would assign a static ip to the server that is within the range of the router, including whatever dns servers the router provides as well. Then I would open ports (28000) to that server within the router.
-
They might also install t1 and play at the "community" server with some real tribes vets.
-
Please send the file to avira so they can examine it. They will determine it as a fals positive or malware.
-
The email I sent you with the account files was bounced back by your email "provider", google. Apparently google does not like .store files.
-
Check your email addy, account has been created.
-
Pm me your email addy and your user name and password wanted for t2 and I'll make accounts for you. Please include secondary user names and passwords in case I run into already in use info.
-
Some of the clientprefs strings settings described here apply to t2: http://forums.legionsoverdrive.com/threads/legions-lite-tweaking.25/

You deleting all dsos?????

That being said, gh has bots of various kinds running around, mostly from humans who are more robotic than human.
-
The other day there was issue with the master server. Setting servers you play on as faves in the server browser will bypass the issue as long as the ip and port of those servers does not change.

OMG YOU FOUND THYTHS HAX!Z

Some words on mem timing "Hi "What is tRAS and why is it backwards and important at the same time? The word latencies is generally used to describe a delay. However, Merriam-Webster defines the words origin as period of dormancy and in technical parlance, latency is often used to describe simply the duration of any event.…

Look in the rooter for a dmz option and try that. If that works, know that the dmz option allows all traffic to pass unhindered to and from your designtaed server. Your server will need a firewall in the server to maintain security.

Setting the sound card rate to 22KHz will reduce the hash and their intensity and I am betting you will never notice the difference in audio quality. That being said, if you set the rate to 11KHz and don't notice how bad the game then sounds you are likely deaf. And like Thyth said, running the game on one core seems to…

The grafix look fine save for all the fog.

I'm about done with the home build writeup, just a few more tidbits and it should be ready. Will have to make it an attachement as it's kinda lengthy, just as you expected. None of the game specific tips are in it as are in this thread so far, just pc build ideas. I have been specialising in keeping older systems usefull…

If this has Ilys approval I am def going to have to try it.

A word on Readyboost and Superfetch And that word, or words, is USE THEM. These are services found in Vista and 7, and all furture M$ os will use likely them. Their roots are in XP's prefetch service, but they are much more advanced, to the point of even knowing the usual times you fire up a certain app. Use them.…

A word on mice and ports: Most of us run a usb kb and mouse, right? Well, sometimes running a mouse on the ps2 port, if your system has one, will reduce latency a bit. Many mice come as usb natively but have a ps2 adapter in the box as well, if you lack a ps2 adapter go find one. Once again, this is not a night and day…

Try it and see.

There are at least two time parameters at work here. One is cpu time the thread can run for, wich is allocated by the os and somewhat depends upon the pci or system bus while the other is the time the os allows a thread to run. Up (uniprocessor) systems usualy run at a normally 10ms time slice while mp (multiprocessor)…

I suspect that it allows the ai to complete whatever task they are tasked with before the timed task routine changes their task. This is what makes them start off on a patrol and in the middle of the map as they are going to the enemy base they turn around and go back, as they have been retasked. Realtime seems to…

Try it. Use the stock ai and see how they play first if you can. Then run the upgraded ai. They perform much better and do things they normally don't at lower pri settings. The upgraded ai should be pretty spectacular in realtime but they were better anyway.
