Also, create a file called autoexec.cs inside your scripts/autoexec folder and add this line to it: SetPerfCounterEnable(0); Your game may run smoother at a setting of 0, but you can also try it enabled with 1, my core2duo sys runs noticeably smoother with it enabled than disabled.

is there anything else running when playing t2?
-
I use server2003 for both my personal t2 game boxes, but t2 runs fine on xp. For older games xp is pretty much the standard, but as you said, new games are written to vista and 7 so to cater to new games one would want to use the os the game is written to.

try these changes after making sure your desktop is running in 32bit colour and copying your current clientprefs somewhere safe: $pref::Interior::DynamicLights = "1"; $pref::OpenGL::force16BitTexture = "0"; $pref::OpenGL::disableARBTextureCompression = "0"; $pref::OpenGL::disableEXTCompiledVertexArray = "0";…

T2 can be set to full detail grafix and not bother a vid card too much. Post you clientprefs and I'll see if I can help it any. The thing about pc parts is heat. Heat dries out capacitors whose insides need to stay wet, and the heat sink grease also needs to remain wet to work properly. heat dries all this out and then…

Hi Roberto. Your ati card should be good enough to play most games, but with a 128bit memory interface, high resolutions and more than 2x antialiasing will make the card stutter in intense game scenes. It should do lovely for games where image quality takes precedence over frames per second and some lag is tolerable. Ati…

What about your router, if you have one?
-
think its pointing to the vid card not keeping up do you have another mon to play on?

One should always run a lcd or plasma screen at the native resolution of the screen. This is often a very high resolution and many video cards stumble trying to maintain smooth fps at high resolutions. If you run the game at less than the native resolution of the monitor, the monitor has to interpolate the native…

kp i know how you feel it doesnt take too much spam to make me drop and wonder why i even try to play any more i was just wondering to meself how it would be if tanks had epic tank battles, or shrike vs shrike rather than the typical shrike whoring and tank spam, not to mention the constant rape and ski-spam-ski there's a…
