Game won't start up due to error in dynamic link library msvcrt.dll

Okay so i installed the game using the link provided here at this site and applied the patch, but whenever i try to boot up either lan or online play i get an error that says "The procedure entry point_resetstkoflw could not be located by the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll" i checked through the read me and didn't really find anything. I'm running a 64 bit version of XP, could that be the problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I run Vista(I think 64bit) on my laptop. I had a few problems at first. but I fixed it by changing my display resolution. I'd suggest giving that a shot.

    I had no issues with Tribes2 when I ran XP x64.
    The issue describe is likely caused by a bad MSVCRT.dll file in the Tribes2/GameData folder, try reinstalling (torrent is recommended).
