not a valid 32Bit Application

So I had the game a long time ago and I came across this site. So I downloaded the game and installed the patch but when I go to play the game I get this message.

I'm on 64Bit Windows 7 and I've tried changing the compatability

I uninstalled the game and re installed it and it worked, but when i patched it and went to go on line i got the same message

Could you run an MD5 checksum on your tribes2.exe like it says in the FAQ?
