constant freezing
I have had this problem before and for some reaon it went away without me doing anything and now it is back. It used to be that I would freez for maby 2 seconds then go away and only happen maby 8 times in a game. Now that it is back the freeze time varys from a 2 to 4 seconds and it seams to happen every 20 to 30 seconds. I do have a couple of UE's and have them screen caped but dont know if they are the cause because I had one of the UE's when the game was freezing and when it was not freezing. I installed the game from my T2 disk dont know if that makes a difference, I just dont understand why the freezing would stop then come back.

Is there anything else running when t2 is running?
Also, if you have a lot of scripts that process stuff (ei: when you kill someone, join a server, or something that constantly loops) can make the game slow down and jitter.
Using a GeForce GTX 260
Also, here are some settings to try in the nvidia control panel wether you run with global settings or with program settings for each game:
select anisotropic filtering and set it at 16
override antialiasing mode
antialiasing to either 2 or 4
set antialiasing transparency to supersampling
set antialiasing gamma correction to on
cuda gpus to none
multidisplay performance/mixed gpu to single display performance mode
set threaded optimisation to off
negative LOD bias to clamp
any texture filtering should do ok
I find little image quality enhancement between 2x and 4x antialiasing but 4x takes much more vid card memory bandwidth than 2x so 4x is of little use to me
I also find quaility and high quality texture filtering to offer very little difference as to image quality and performance though I have tested both in benchmarks and seen 1000 less points in 3dmark when set to high quality over just quality
just some settings to try
you may have a heat issue, or some other issue unrelated to any of these settings but if you have issues when joining the card shouldnt be hot enough to lock up
