Well guys, I'll keep using FRAPS for other stuff, but Tribes 2 isn't working with it anymore. And I didn't even change anything. Suggestions on other not so expensive or free software? Hit me up! Thanks!
Hey rJay, I used to use bandicam which has a free flavor ---->http://www.bandicam.com/
Also if you have a Nvidea card 600 series and up, you can try shadowplay which is free, it can be found in the gforce experience.

Thanks dude! That's what a lot of people said.. about the Shadow Play. However, no, I have a AMD Dual chipset. :P And Bandicam has a cap of 10 mins. Thanks though!
Explanation: So I discovered that OBS was attempting to calculate key frames on its own and would skip 2-3 seconds of video entirely while continuing to capture audio. I readjusted the settings and found I had to set Keyframe Interval to 2 and Process Priority to Above Normal.
And the videos were fixed. Now I'm reuploading a 1 Hour session on tribes where the video is only 11 GB vs Fraps's famous 4GB per 2-3 minutes.
Okay: Movie Maker is done, YouTube is doing its duty to get this uploaded. Video: http://youtu.be/tLbk9HhiTfw

It's designed primarily for broadcasting, hence the name.
To enable recording: Settings -> Settings -> Broadcast Settings
Mode: File Output Only
I set a Record Hotkey to F11 and Stop Recording to F12
It'll allow for overlaying text and images on your videos as well.
To adjust for higher quality recording visit: http://obsproject.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2972
