Do we need to patch the game to V25034 or it already included in the TribesNext patch?

Gamespot and Fileplanet have the patch. I was wondering if that one's necessary or do I ignore that and patch the game with the TribesNext patch?

Also, it's okay if I download the entire game from Fileplanet right? This site's getting a major buzz so I suppose your servers are busy.

Good job guys! I never thought I'd get the chance to play this game. (I've been a casual player of Starsiege: Tribes and Tribes: Vengeance.) I made an article --- "Downloadable Free PC FPS Multiplayer Shooter: TribesNext - Full Game Tribes 2" --- and posted it on my site to spread the word. I hope this'll help in spreading the word.

If this game works for me, I'll change my ISP just for this game; may it live forever.



EDIT: NvM the Fileplanet question; I just checked. They don't have any free public server that has the game.

You must apply the patch to 25034.

1. Install Tribes 2

2. Install latest patch

3. Install TribesNext patch?

If you install from the GameSpy Installer in the torrent, or on one of the mirrors, you'll have 25034.

If you install from a CD, you'll most likely have something older.
