Tabbing out UE

can anyone tell me why i get a ue everytime i try to tab out of the game.this has been happening since before the master servers went down

    I've had this issue from day one. Only solution I know of is to not Alt-Tab out, ever. In my case, I also automatically set Tribes to be always on top, so no window steals focus from it, as that causes UEs for me as well.

    If anyone else has had Alt-Tab issues and knows of a fix, we'd like to know.

    Fix: Play in windowed mode.

    ? could this be a keyboard preset issue because the ~ key above the tab key boots me right out of the game with no UE message
