Creating New Account Problem
Hello,
I'm having an issue trying to create an account. I've tried several things tonight including reading over the FAQ. When I try to "Create New Account" via the main menu, all it does is sit there with "Please wait as the server status is checked." After a minute or so, I get the message "The server address has not yet been retrieved. Close this page and try again in a moment."
A couple of things I've tried:
-Uninstall/Install (full installation and patch)
-Enable/Disable Windows Firewall (I added an exception for Tribes2 just in case)
-Set affinity (tried each core running by itself)
-Checked the server status multiple times throughout the evening (listed as "ONLINE")
-Disabled my antivirus software
-Ran Tribes 2 Online in compatibility mode: Windows XP SP2
-Ran Tribes 2 Online as an administrator
I'm not quite sure what else to try at the moment. I'm going to give LAN a shot tomorrow and see if that works at least. I can play Tribes 2 solo just fine with bots.
I'm currently using Vista 32-bit.

On a side note, I think what you guys are doing is great. Tribes 2 was one of my all time favorites and when I read about Tribes Next I was excited and ready to jump right back into it! Thanks for keeping the community alive! ;D
