Hey everyone, just stumbled upon this site and decided to play a little Tribes 2 again. Anyone here used to play Tribes: Aerial Assault for the PS2? I'm not sure if it's still around but there was a really close community of players for a solid five years. I think they recently shut down the master servers though, so I doubt it's still around.

Tribes: Aerial Assault sucked in my opinion. It was just like Starcraft for the PS2 -- the PC version owned it.

I found a video of AA gameplay. Looked like T2 but slower than base. Interface looked like crap too.

well I guess it would be ok if i didnt own a pc lol. just a bit to slow for me.funny how ps2 tried to port some good pc games and failed awfully at it. I Remember when my friend bought diablo 2 for ps2 it was god awful.

It looks like it used to be pretty fun, but it would probably drive me crazy after playing the PC version. Never had a PS2 either.

i know this is an old thread, but phobia is an old friend.

T:AA had a community of players like no other game. i hope the new tribes will be similar. i am buying a pc just so i can play it.
