hi eolk i downloaded tribes 2 before running it ran the patch but i get a ue in section 00000 what must i do?

You have to:

Install T2. http://xfer1.the-construct.net/tribes2/tribes2gsi.exe (or wherever the hell you got T2 from in the first place)
Run the latest T2 patch. http://xfer1.the-construct.net/tribes2/patch/_tribes2_update_21570-24834_25034.exe
Then run the TN patch. http://www.tribesnext.com/files/TribesNext_rc2a.exe

Then eat a pie.

If you did it in a different order (that includes the pie) or you didnt install the TN patch, it will not work.

The Tribes2GSI.exe installs the latest version of T2, so you don't actually have to patch with anything other than the TribesNext patch.

Did that all even ate pie afterwards... this is the error i still get: I did it exactly in that order. ran it exactly like that. Then tried any game type no matter what i get the same error. Thyth or someone come to my rescue! lol...
