when i tried to install tribes 2 from this site my virus program noticed a trojan'
might wanna fix that:P
Random side note, if you find yourself getting a lot of false positives (viruses on legitimate files), you may want to reconsider your choice of anti-virus.
Personally, i use Eset's NOD32, which is one of the leaders in the field. They've got a tiny footprint (amount of resources taken), its damn near invisible unless a malicious file is detected, and the scans are extremely fast in comparison to many AV products out there.
Plus, it's not horrific like Symantec's offerings.

Did we ever get MD5 hashes up on the downloads? Check and verify those. If they match, it's a false positive. It probably is anyway.

If it still says there's an embedded virus, it's likely a false positive.
