Im having trouble getting an irc cllient that can actually be download because my school's network was designed by heinrich himmler. can someone put mirc in this forum please?

    Get a shell account that supports irssi and connect to the shell account via SSH.

    SSH uses a secure connection. Plus, you're not "downloading" anything, you're just connecting to a remote server to use IRC.
