• Yeah, you can hide them in them in Settings->Graphics. Put first person view on "neither player nor weapon".

• I would play more if the bots were removed. All they do is cause more fps lag for me. (this computer is old)

• Personally, I prefer the official maps. The only custom map I have right now is flatland for construction.
