Almost enough on teams for 10v10. But we still need more teams - at least double the current amount before opening a larger ladder.

It was lots of fun. I'll make most sat's from now on.

... Move along.

Great reference! It takes a real superstar to notice the connection between these two occurances ... Posting this into the public not only exposes the player but the fact that such cheats may or may not exist. It also informs the general public on this forum and opens discussion of such matters. Belive it or not, this is…

Demo. Then FRAPS. Problem Solved.

The only difference being BF1942 was the only half decent one after a billion patches. The rest suck. At least T2 is worth a shit, more than BF2 ever was.

There's a challenge. We'd have to modify DX so it has a V-PAD. Unless you don't want to shrike launch yourself into a decent capping speed? However, I agree. Very good learning map. Dedicated DX would be much better than Katabatic anyday! The play style changes with the quanity of players; better when learning.

BioDerms

Why? This would take a player slot and accompish nothing.

Digg has been going downhill for over a year now.
-
Point taken, My bad. But, why didn't you make that point first? You could always be support if you are in line with the idea and NOT be an "opinionated" and "egotistical" member of the tribes community. :D
-
Wait. What? Your suggested the notion we should have teams? They will group and learn together and from each other? I think you have a good idea!
-
Good point by using games which don't haven an online aspect? What portion of Tribes has ever been single player? The experienced players most likely will not do this in a large pub. And definately not with players rejecting the idea. Organize around a concept? How about the concept of different levels of play? Which has…
-
That's the exact point. Might as well build interest before a player base begins to dry up and refuse the idea of comp. Most should find it more exciting than hours of pub play. Less attitudes like DUNNA rejecting the idea of comp because it's a hardcore 24/7 focus on only compeition which means you can't have a life.…
-
Organized pubs? Has that ever happened? You have to think of building with an already experienced player level and new players. Games new off the shelf succeed due to people wanting competition from day one! And even when it comes, there is always a division.
-
The only difference between those pubs with vets only and your average joe playing right now is the level of exposure. With a new player population, it would be time to start and grow to that level. As I am sure, many older players would be willing to spend some time with new players actually wanting to be at that level.…

um. what?

This thread is hillarious. We're back to player skill again and some of you guys don't actually understand what players are capable of in a team environment. Can't wait until competition or a tournament. Having 7v7 back would be a good start.
-
Wouldn't the idea be to keep this active for map review, additions, tournaments, etc? We aren't talking about releasing hundreds of maps. And since when is size of maps an issue? HDD are massive these days.
-
Might be a little off center, but where there many other map packages aside from the Ladder/Compeition packs? I seem to remember the TWL, BEML, and Euro packs, but no others; just the random maps littered in my T2 folder. While the Auto-Download would be a good idea, it would be refreshing to have a greater number of…

Lets not ignore the types of maps we have to work with. Or where the direction of new maps can go. Magmatic is a good example of a map which can be on both 32 and 64. While still small, has the size to support a good play style. Also caters to vehicles, while the more experienced players will probably never take one, those…

Think I figured out your issue. ;)

If you keep a mixture of maps you will create chaos. I would suggest maps like Thin Ice where there are more built up bases and no exposure of the flag would be suitable for your 64 Man Server. Whereas open and exposed flags will be a better momentum of game play, field play, and possibly set on your 32 Man Server. It…

Do those global messages still lag the crap out of servers? Haven't seen them used in awhile.

Most used Voice Command.

I find it interesting the second option has no votes.
