The | Policeman, you did ask for feedback and that's exactly what they were giving you (albeit, they weren't packaging it with fluffy bunnies). Everybody else, tone it back... he was asking for feedback, either post in a (somewhat) constructive fashion or get the fuck out. Constructive: Borderline (Simon Cowell):

I do believe this is an issue in the engine itself. I'm sure somebody with more knowledge of the situation (Red Shifter, Teratos, Kryand?) could give you a more in-depth analysis of Dynamix/Garage Games failure in this respect.
-
Ok, I may as well throw a few pointers your way... If you right-click the GUI element (not the entry in the tree), you can add child elements to it, as well as delete it by simply hitting the delete key. Also, you typically need to hit apply to save the profile/characteristics of an object.
-
Why not post your critical patches for everybody to use?
-
Yes, people still play. The most populated server tends to be Goon Haven, though the population may be dwindling with school starting back up around the US.
-
Moved.
-
PNG and JPEG are the net formats, not your silly BMP!
-
I believe getGroup() is what you need.

Stop mocking me :(

I had no issues with Tribes2 when I ran XP x64. The issue describe is likely caused by a bad MSVCRT.dll file in the Tribes2/GameData folder, try reinstalling (torrent is recommended).

If you get the NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT error, it means your public/private .store files are either missing, possibly corrupted, or your account was not stored in them. Try using the account retrieval tool. The Auth and Listing servers are up; as I just poked the Auth Server, and the Listing "server" is part of this website. Auth…

Hey now, the TribesNext Server Status Page uses twitter. :P I'd add facebook support too, if I weren't so lazy.
-
In the heat of battle, it's time consuming. This lets them know (almost) immediately that their tailgunner has X flares, or is out.
-
If you're only playing/testing offline, you could either disable the T2CSRI scripts by renaming/moving the T2CSRI.vl2 file, or use a second installation of T2 that doesn't have the TribesNext patch installed.
-
.::Edit::. After some poking around the T2CSRI scripts, it looks like #1, #4, #5, and #6 are all called during the game startup or shortly thereafter.
-
More info (System specs, OS, clean install or some scripts, etc) would be appreciated. Is your friends install patched with TribesNext?
-
And everybody misses the point of the post: He's complaining about griefers, not the rape train. Thus, this post probably belongs on the Goon Haven Forums
-
Except Kryand, he's so dreamy...I mean awesome.
-
Use the edit button! @Red Shifter: looks interesting, I may have to try it out.
-
That's more than play TSW! Sorry keen, I had to!
-
Wasn't T:V effectively a mod of UT, with a few (if any?) under the hood tweaks to the engine?
-
How dare you degrade Bush like that! He might not have been the sharpest knife in the drawer (hell, he might not have even been in the drawer), but he's certainly no demoncard. :P
-
Um, no? >_>
-
It depends on the server, I believe Goon Haven has a rule against it.
-
I'd say go server-side, but then you're so horribly limited in the scale and missions... Plus, if you go client-side and stumble across a modeler ... :D
-
Tribes: Vengeance would technically be the third installment, though most of the Tribes community doesn't consider it as part of the series because it was a complete failure. Vivendi released the game, promised patches and mod tools, and then simply dropped all support because it bombed. I use the CDs as coasters. :)
-
an oopsie on my part. fixed... Just change the .row strong color in the to whatever you want.
-
This tidbit would've been helpful. TribesNext is so you can play Online!
