I just finished extracting the Mega pack to an empty directory. It looks like the Triumph mod has all of the .cs script files & I will be able to use those as how-to-do stuff examples ๐ Many thanks to the guys who put that together !!! ๐๏ธ I also read thru the scripting FAQ included in the Mega pack...... Very goodโฆ

steve1, I plan on releasing an updated version of Roboto's last bot pack in a couple of months. I would love to wait until all of the maps that I am working on are finished. Crimzan, I may be able to help you out a bit......... Over the last few months I have been converting new & old maps to use Laggs/Robotos bots. I run 3 different installations of T2........ A generic straight-up Tribes Next play T2 online & offline installation - On this one I can play online against other players playingโฆ

Krash, not needing a fix for this crash I just discovered, if time allows in the future I will try to replicate it & post a crash log & message here......... It is unimportant to me now & I can work around it by editing the map in a different sequence. I managed to get my first crash when making a new nav graph on a mapโฆ

There are a couple of good Youtube videos out there.... Search for Tribes 2 Classic skiing. I never was a very good skiier in T1, but I have gotten better over time in T2 Classic. It's got a lot to do with timing and the angle that you hit the slope. I like to watch guys who are good enough that they use the sides of hillsโฆ

Krash, Thank you so very much for this QOL update !!!! I am in the process of making 2 new bot maps, & I never could get a successful spawngraph file built no matter what I tried. I couldn't build a bot nav graph, either. So, I installed a seperate version of T2 with RC2A & your QOL update & I used that version to buildโฆ

BH, your encounter at Massive saved me some testing ๐ How ingratious of those.... Terds. The one thing that always makes me laugh is when someone visits your server & I see in the text, and it's almost always the same exact thing "These bots are a55holes". I would still like to know for sure if that enemy bot who jetted up to the first roof veranda on Massive really waved Hi to us just a millisecond before we disclaunched him off the top.... I think you or I may have accidently hit the global wave key sequence & it caused him to wave at us LOL I will spend time testing thatโฆ

Blakhart, so far so good with the edited version of my Clientprefs.cs you gave me.... I had only one UE so far & that was on Damned AI night before last. I didn't write the error down; I think it was just my old crummy PC wigging out. I will write down any future UEs, though..... Oh, I'd like to apologize for blowing youโฆ

I finally was able to get a screenshot of the unhandled exception that locked my client up when I was playing on Blakhart's server..... It was on Recalescence tonight, after I had switched it from the Gorgon map. I was playing layered generator defense. I had 3 client crashes today, all in the same area of the map. Theโฆ

Oh yeah, that is one thing you can count on with these excellent bots.... They do hunt you down !!! I think some recent fun I had was with mujerazteca when he went on one of his offensive sniping jaunts on Vauban. I tagged along with an inv & set up a little defensive area near him & came back as heavy. I would try to helpโฆ

Blakhart & Krash, I think it is just my game that crashing; I can't tell if the server was crashing then or not, since I just run my game & no other software when I am playing. Now, FWIW, I have a barebones-cheap-as-you-can-get desktop from BestBuy that is a few years old so IMO I guess I am lucky to be playing at all.โฆ

Oh my goodness, Sami.... Frostyrepair & FrostyAutorepair are just the best of the best......... One of them will scavenge unused repair kits if found in the field & use them on yourself if needed. I haven't tested that one yet. The other one allows you to point your current weapon at a turret or person, and when you hitโฆ

I wonder how much money they lost on T1 to freeloaders..... Probably a lot of big bucks, for sure....๐๏ธ It still impresses me that this game is still being played in 2025...... Amazing..... & the skill level of some of the guys playing is just beyond impressive.
