  • Yes the problem was the old .dll being in the GameData folder. It's working now, thank you! Hopefully the other guy comes back and reads this since he probably gave up if it was the same issue causing the errors for him.

  • I do play a lot of old games, many of them 32-bit and haven't run into this problem before. However I have managed to get rid of most of the errors by replacing the mentioned .dll files in SysWOW64 with older versions, but the only one that persists no matter what version I try is the one for SHLWAPI.dll.   • I'm having the same problem, also running Windows 10 64-bit. Tried all the above solutions, also tried installing the game on two different drives. If it were a problem with the Windows installation itself I'd think there would be issues running other programs also.
