Addendum: Works fine with wine 1.0.1 but when using current (1.1.6 as of now) it throws an error when trying to join the server. Out of curiousity, was the TN support for wine improved? Last time i've checked it just didn't work.

Not true. Look here: http://www.tribesnext.com/forum/index.php?topic=244.msg1971#msg1971 Maybe dt is a point for some but not the reason we stick with altmasterserver for now.

Afik all the eu servers currently up (about 6) are running linux or even bsd. So without linux support or someone with a win dedicated hosting a server there will be no tribesnext eu server. And while i'm at it. Thats the main reason for us eu guys to stick with atlmasterserver for now. Its not like, as some here…
