Well I'll be. It took a bit o doing because intel keeps pushing to download their driver utility, which doesn't see what I have, but I got the 09 windows 7 drivers, which seems to be working fine.

I am not interested I the vanipla assets. I am interested in the higher resolution variants, plus the tribes ascend assets made to run on 1.40 since they look pretty decently detailed.

I'd rather gravcycle races because mpbs are slow as hell. Poking around on t2forums for stuff like animations. If that can get answered will look into how to add animated models in.

I could make the specific asset files accessible to anyone that has ideas, but I don't want to advocate or come off as if pirating (even though it's a twelve year old game) so not sure if uploading and linking to just the DAT/pkg files would be kosher or not.

7zip wouldn't touch the pkg files unfortunately. Ditto with .DAT.

Update: Got an ISO ripped and... Now looking for tools to deal with the audio pkg files and the files.DAT file in the iso's /tribes directory. Unlikely. I like the HUD. Trouble is the new particles, while awesome, makes the computer i"m using slow down to nada. Oh well. It wasn't intended for people without gaming \systems. I still say excellent job.

Had they not tried to pass it off as a Tribes game I would've really liked Vengance. Single Player was fun... but it lacked the feel and flow of multiplayer.

It has flaws aplenty, some of these involving the fact it's a duel centric map and the apparent difficulty in gettingsingle player specific things to happen. It's actually a fairly well done map. ...I just wish kenzie would stop spamming with whatever weapon she has out at the moment...
