  • Well, since Tracer ECM is a rather common mod, it's likely that it is not the one causing problems. If you're feeling patient, try deleting only the skin and trying. If the game doesn't work, it's the mod. Otherwise, it's only the skin.

  • I've had similar problems before. In my case, a mod was causing all the distress. When you launch the program, check the console and see if everything is in order. Try uninstalling the most recent mod (which is more likely to be causing the problem). And don't forget to post a reply if you have solved it.

  • Have you updated your video or audio drivers recently? If so, consider restoring the old drivers. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling, DELETING the game folder, which usually persists when you uninstall it, and THEN reinstall. • The mod is already completed, thanks to teratos' help. Tracer ECM was not adequate for my needs. teratos, my friend... Don't feed the trolls... ;D
  • Oh well. I had to reinstall the patch. Somehow it did not change the executable (but I was able to create an account and login to TribesNext servers before the reinstallation... :o). Anyway, it is now working. Thanks a lot for your help, Thyth.
  • Thanks for your reply Thyth. Did you mean that the Class-B-IP-check-on-LAN-games problem is already solved on the TribesNext patch? 'Cause I have the patch installed here and the problem is alive and kicking. Or did you mean that, through Hamachi, the game is unplayable if there's a different Class B IP? I am sorry, but I…
  • It worked! Thank you very much, teratos! In fact, the voicebinds.cs file can be edited through the in-game menu, but the cannedchatitems.cs file, the phrases themselves, can not. But it can be changed with notepad ;D... Thanks again, problem solved!
  • Thanks for your reply, teratos. But I've already explored all of the vl2 files, and I couldn't find the text files that relate to the voice binds in any of them. Unfortunately the voice.vl2 file contains only the .wav files, i.e., the voices themselves.
